On-Site Programs: Why Airplanes Fly
Appropriate for Grades 3 - 5
Cost: $10/student
This fun program will get your students excited about principles of motion and flight. Discuss the difference between mass and weight, the forces that act upon flying objects and what makes it possible for even the largest aircraft to get off the ground.
For a more interactive approach to the program, request “Hands-On Aviation.” Class time is approximately 45 minutes.
