Education at the Air Zoo:
General Information
At the Air Zoo, teaching your group about humanity’s quest to reach the skies is a breeze.
Education Programs overview
- Unless otherwise noted, all programs include a visit to the Air Zoo’s Main Campus.
- The Air Zoo’s programs can be adapted for students with special needs or to better align with your classroom curriculum. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible. When scheduling your visit, please notify us about the learning or physical needs of your students.
- Groups may opt to bring their own bag lunches or purchase lunches at the Kitty Hawk Cafe (orders should be placed in advance).
Free admission for eligible students
All students in the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program and children age five and under are admitted free during your group’s visit (excluding Overnight Programs). In addition, one adult chaperone for every five students and bus drivers are also admitted free. Be sure to ask about necessary documentation when you make your reservation.
Group rates
Fees for general group admission and education programs begin at $8.00 per student and include admission to the Air Zoo’s Main Campus and the East Campus.
This includes unlimited participation on the rides and hands-on exhibits (as time permits). Please note that some attractions have a minimum height requirement.
Be sure to register early – space on any given day is limited.
