Scouts will earn their Merit Badge by examining a variety of items, along with there historical importance, such as the Declaration of Independence, the National Seal, motto and anthem. Scouts will also interview two U.S. military veterans, research their family's history, study different genres of music and what they reflect about the era, and learn about the National Register of Historic Places.
