Forces and Fun: Explore with the Luge
1-2:30 p.m.
For 3-6th graders
Kids will examine gravity and friction as physical forces. They will build a simulated luge track and make predictions about the impact of different shapes, surfaces and wind resistance. The scientific theory will be used while conducting simulated luge runs!
Designed specifically for homeschooled children ages 5-12, Homeschool Discovery Days are held once a month throughout the school year.
Each multi-disciplinary program has an emphasis on a variety of activities related to aviation and space. Students will explore these subjects through fun and fascinating hands-on activities.
Each session costs $20 per child. SkySpace Kids Club and supporting members will receive 10% off.
Students must preregister by emailing Tanya Simmer or calling her at 269.350.2823.
