Friction in Our Lives
1-2:30 p.m.
For 3-6th graders
Friction is a force that opposes motion. The amount of friction depends on the surface type and the force pressing two objects together. We will explore examples from everyday life and how friction helps or hinders everything we do.
Designed specifically for homeschooled children ages 5-12, Homeschool Discovery Days are held once a month throughout the school year.
Each multi-disciplinary program has an emphasis on a variety of activities related to aviation and space. Students will explore these subjects through fun and fascinating hands-on activities.
Each session costs $20 per child. SkySpace Kids Club and supporting members will receive 10% off.
Students must preregister by emailing Tanya Simmer or calling her at 269.350.2823.
