History in a Box: World War I/II Propaganda

Appropriate for Upper Elementary/High School/College students

Please note: these are separate units for WWI and WWII propaganda

Each of the nations that participated in the two World Wars used propaganda posters, not only as a means of justifying involvement to their own populace, but also as a means of procuring men, money and resources to sustain their military campaign.

Some used them to lower the morale of their enemies. Students will be introduced to propaganda and will examine the themes through war posters.
