Corn maze honors veterans with unique design

With a wing span stretching longer than a football field, Gull Meadow Farm’s newest corn maze—a tribute to veterans—is a must-do event for the whole family.

This year, the farm has partnered with the Air Zoo for a salute to aviation history. Nestled within five acres of corn, the maze features the Air Zoo’s P-40, formally flown by its co-founder Sue Parish with “Thanks Veterans” written above it. Last year’s President Ford maze drew thousands of visitors and was the most downloaded photo on a popular online news website.

“It’s not every day that we relish seeing the Air Zoo’s P-40 in a corn field,” Air Zoo Executive Director Bob Ellis says jokingly, “We cannot thank Gull Meadows Farms enough for selecting the Air Zoo as a partner in this wonderful and timely tribute to veterans.”

Gull Meadow Farms also offers a newly expanded bakery, wagon rides and Pumpkin Lane, which includes a 40-foot tunnel slide, 90-foot zip cord, jumping pillow and several mazes for kids and adults. Visitors to Gull Meadow Farms will also receive a coupon good for up to $10 off admission to the Air Zoo.
