Air Zoo to offer spring break disc golf camps

KALAMAZOO, Mich.-Kids looking for a fun spring break experience need look no further! For the first time ever, the Air Zoo is offering spring break disc golf camps to kids ages
7-13+.
During the daylong camp, kids will learn all about flight, while learning to how play disc golf. Larry LaBond, professional disc golfer and course designer, will teach campers about the aerodynamics behind disc golf, while showing them tricks behind the game. At the end of the day, campers will apply what they learned in their own disc golf tournament and winners will receive a prize!
The Air Zoo is offering three sessions of the camp:
Session 1
April 4
9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ages 7-9
Session 2
April 5
9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ages 10-12
Session 3
April 6
9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ages 13+
All camps cost $30 per child and include use of a disc for playing (campers may also bring their own), along with a wristband for rides and attractions. Air Zoo members will receive 10 percent off the camp. Each camp is limited to 20 kids.

The Air Zoo is a nonprofit organization located at 6151 Portage Road in Portage, Mich. It is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution and offers a restaurant, gift shop and banquet facilities. General admission is free. Unlimited rides and attractions may be purchased with a wristband package or can be purchased individually with tickets.
