Air Zoo and Hospital Hospitality House collaborate to present Hops & Props

KALAMAZOO, Mich.-The Air Zoo and Hospital Hospitality House are joining forces to host the second annual Hops & Props casino night and beer tasting fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 8.
From 7:30 p.m.-midnight at the Air Zoo, guests will be able to test their luck with an assortment of casino games, sample a variety of beers from regional microbreweries, bid on silent auction items and enjoy appetizers-all for a good cause! Casino games will include roulette, blackjack, Texas Hold'em, craps, money wheel and more. A cash bar will be available.
Tickets are $50 per person and include a starter pack of game chips, beer tastings and appetizers. Tables of 10 may be reserved for $500 each. VIP sponsorships are also available for $1,000 and include tickets to the event and reserved seating. All proceeds will benefit Air Zoo community programs and Hospital Hospitality House. Guests must be at least 18 years old to participate in gaming and at least 21 years old to sample beer.

Hospital Hospitality House is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1985 to provide comfort, care and lodging to those in need of a home-like environment while their loved ones are receiving medical treatment in Kalamazoo. Hospital Hospitality House is located at 527 W. South St. in Kalamazoo, Mich.
The Air Zoo is a nonprofit organization located at 6151 Portage Rd. in Portage, Mich. It is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution and offers a restaurant, gift shop and banquet facilities. Effective June 11, 2011: General admission will cost $8 per person. Unlimited rides and attractions may be purchased with a wristband package (Ultimate Ace-$15, Junior Flyer-$12, Co-Pilot-$8), which includes general admission, or tickets can be purchased individually for rides.
