Public relations and marketing coordinator joins Air Zoo

The Air Zoo has hired Danielle Nicholl* to the new position of public relations and marketing coordinator. Nicholl is responsible for managing communications and public relations projects, as well as implementing key elements of the Air Zoo's marketing plan. Her responsibilities include developing new marketing, sales, collateral and outreach materials for Air Zoo programs and activities.

Nicholl joins the Air Zoo from The Walt Disney Company in Celebration, Florida, where she served as a public relations intern with Worldwide Sales and Travel Operations Public Relations for Disney Destinations. While there, she wrote for Disney publications and coordinated media outreach. She also spent time as a public relations intern for Special Olympics Michigan in Mount Pleasant, Michigan and the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Nicholl graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism with a concentration in news editorial and an advertising minor from Central Michigan University. While attending CMU, Nicholl was a reporter and proofreader for the university newspaper Central Michigan Life, and was selected to be a part of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
