Air Zoo to host flu and pneumonia vaccination clinic

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - On Sept. 24 from 1-3 p.m. the Air Zoo will hold a public flu and pneumonia immunization clinic offered by Borgess VNA Home Care.
Visiting nurses from Borgess VNA Home Care will be available to administer the following services:
- Regular flu shot (ages 6 months-65+): $29
- Flu Mist nasal spray (ages 2-49): $29
- Intradermal flu shot (ages 18-64): $37
- Fluzone high-dose flu shot (ages 65+): $58
- Pneumonia vaccination (ages 65+): $85
All seasonal flu vaccines offer protection from H1N1, H3N1 and B flu viruses. Borgess VNA Home Care accepts all Medicare Part B plans. Cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

The Air Zoo is a nonprofit organization located at 6151 Portage Rd. in Portage, Mich. It is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution and offers a restaurant, gift shop and banquet facilities. General admission is $8 per person. Unlimited rides and attractions may be purchased with a wristband package (Ultimate Ace-$15, Junior Flyer-$12, Co-Pilot-$8), which includes general admission, or tickets can be purchased individually for rides. Children who are 4 years old or younger are free.
