Job Title: Public Relations & Marketing Manager
KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Thanks to EPS Security, a grant program that allows nonprofit organizations to send vulnerable youth to Air Zoo public programs is now available.
EPS Security hosted Life Safety Day, which provided parents with a digitized fingerprint from their child, an updated photograph and a DNA collection kit, at the Air Zoo on Sept. 15. In honor of Life Safety Day, EPS made a generous gift of $5,000 to create and fund the EPS Security Scholarship Fund.
The EPS Security Scholarship Fund makes dollars available to nonprofit organizations in Southwest Michigan that wish to bring youth to the Air Zoo for public programs or to experience all of the Air Zoo's space and aviation exhibits and attractions.
For more information, including how to apply for funding, nonprofit organizations should contact Debra Mixis, executive director of the Air Zoo Legacy Foundation, at 269.350.2814 or email@example.com.
The Air Zoo is a nonprofit organization located at 6151 Portage Rd. in Portage, Mich. It is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution and offers a restaurant, gift shop, and banquet facilities. General admission is $8 per person. Unlimited rides and attractions may be purchased with a wristband package (Ultimate Ace-$15, Junior Flyer-$12, Co-Pilot-$8), which includes general admission, or tickets can be purchased individually for rides. Children who are 4 years old or younger are free.
