KALAMAZOO, Mich.-As part of the Air Zoo's 30th anniversary celebration-and the 5th anniversary of opening the Main Campus-the Air Zoo will be offering free general admission through September 30.
"We are truly excited to be able to offer this opportunity at a time when families have to stretch their entertainment dollars," says Bob Ellis, executive director of the Air Zoo, "By offering free general admission, we can ensure that everyone can enjoy one of Southwest Michigan's biggest attractions."
The free general admission includes entrance to both the Main and East Campus, viewing all the aircraft, artifacts and artwork on display, plus admission to the 4D theater and the Space Walk. For those who would like to expand their experience even further, rides including the Montgolfier Balloon ride, Jenny Bi-Plane Ride, Full-Motion Flight Simulators, 3D Space Shuttle, Mission to Mars, Space Ball and Zero G will be available for a modest charge.
Ride tickets are available for $2 each and each ride takes only one or two tickets. Visitors may opt to purchase an ultimate ride pass for only $12.95 that allows unlimited rides all day long. Annual Passes are an exception value for $29.25 for adults, $26.25 for seniors 60+ and just $23.25 for children up to age 15. The Annual Passes allow visitors to enjoy the rides for no additional charge for an entire year.
