NEW! Full-Motion Advanced Flight Trainer

The Air Zoo and Third Coast Aviation have partnered to offer guests the Full-Motion Advanced Flight Trainer. The Full-Motion Advanced Flight Trainer is a Redbird professional training simulator that provides the sensation of flying, while you're still on the ground! This advanced flight training simulator is used to train pilots and features wrap-around visuals, a fully enclosed cockpit, quick-change configurations and scenario-based training compatibility. Its motion platform replicates pitch, roll and yaw for a flight experience you won't soon forget! Choose between a Cessna 172 Skyhawk or a Beechcraft Baron.

The Full-Motion Advanced Flight Trainer is located in the Air Zoo's East Campus, just down the road from the Main Campus. Its software introduces real-world situations that pilots face every day, such as heavy winds, storm activity, rerouting due to landing strip availability and more! If you're training to become a pilot, or you simply want to improve piloting skills, your flight in this simulator may count towards your pilot's log.

Choose from the following experiences:

• A 15-minute flight simulation, during which you will take off and land at the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport. This experience costs $25.
• A 30-minute flight simulation where you may choose from a list of airports including Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Aspen/Pitkin County Airport and more! This experience costs $39.

Pilots-in-training may also take part in the T-shirt Challenge! Land a Cessna 172 Skyhawk on an aircraft carrier on your first attempt and receive a free T-shirt!
