Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly an airplane? Take the first step to becoming a pilot with Third Coast Aviation's pilot ground course at the Air Zoo's East Campus! Here you will learn the basics of what it is like to pilot an aircraft. Third Coast Aviation's well-trained instructors will teach you everything you will need to know to become a pilot. The ground course will cover the fundamentals of aerodynamics, aircraft systems, federal aviation regulations and much more.

Whether you are pursuing a career in aviation or simply looking to pick up that hobby you have always dreamed of, this is the place to start! The staff of flight instructors is very flexible and willing to accommodate any schedule. At the conclusion of the pilot course, students will be ready to take the FAA written exam, which is required to obtain a pilot license.
