Is this reciprocal benefit inlcuded in all of the Air Zoo's Memberships?
No! This receiprocal benefit is included with memberships at the Family Level ($100) or more per the program.
Are there limits to this program?
Yes, make sure the science center or museum you are visiting is NOT located within 90 miles of either your home residence or the science center or museum that you belong to. This distance is measured as a linear radius, not driving distance.ASTC & NARM
Review the family admittance policy of the venue that you intend to visit. Call before you visit to confirm your Passport Program benefits.
Pack your ID (or other proof of residence). Admissions staff reserve the right to request proof of residence for benefits to apply. Passport Program venues requesting proof of residence are marked by “Proof of Residence Required”.
Pack your membership card. Passport Program venues are not required to grant benefits to visitors who forget their cards. There is no universal database with all Passport visitors’ member data for admission staff to reference. Some venues will allow you to call your home institution to confirm your membership, but they are under no obligation to do so.
Are there any exepmtions to the 90 mile radius limitations with the ASTC and NARM reciprocals?
Yes, the Air Zoo has special arrangements with Impression 5 Science Center (Lansing, MI) who offers 50% off admission to all our members with ASTC reciprocations. The Air Zoo also offers members of Impression 5, 50% off admission when they visit the Air Zoo. Science Central (Fort Wayne, IN) offers free admission to all Air Zoo members with ASTC reciprocations.
Have you lost your card?
Please contact your home science center or museum. ASTC does not issue or administer membership cards.
Do I need to reserve tickets in advance?
No, ASTC & NARM members will need to show their ID and membership card in person.
Are there local or regional reciprocations available to me as an Air Zoo Member?
Yes! We have some annual and some monthly opportunities to explore more!
Science Central (Fort Wayne, IN) - offers free admission to all Air Zoo members at the Family Level or above. Southwest Michigan Cultural Membership Exchange - Six southwest Michigan community cultural institutions have partnered to share membership benefits! Members of each institution get free access to all 6 organizations with their member card & photo ID in the month of October.
What do I need to visit one of the musuems or centers listed above during their reciprocation period?
Your Air Zoo Membership Card and photo id.
Can I cancel my Air Zoo Membership after I purchase it?
No, all memberships are non-refundable.

May I use my Air Zoo Family Membership for my child's admission during a school or group field trip or other education program?
Air Zoo Family Memberships may NOT be used for a students admission when they are attending in a fieldtrip/school/ group setting. Their admission to the Air Zoo and our programs are linked to the school or organization they are attending with, and must be checked in accordingly.
However, as the parent or guardian of that attending child, you may use your membership for your free admission and join the school group directly following check in.
When will I receive my membership cards?
It can take up to four weeks for cards to arrive.
Do I need my membership card in order to visit the Air Zoo?
If you haven’t received your cards yet, or simply can’t find them and want to visit the Air Zoo , we can look up your membership with proof of ID.
How do I purchase a copilot pass?
You can call the Air Zoo at 269.350.2842 to add a copilot pass over the phone or complete this form and someone from our Membership team will be in touch!
I just purchased my membership online and want to use ASTC or NARM reciprocal benefits right away. What can I do to show that I have an Air Zoo membership?
You can email membership@airzoo.org and we can send you an email verifying your membership. Please allow for 48 hours for someone from our team to respond.
