Position Title: Director of Development
Supervisor: President/CEO
Status: Full-time. Exempt
The Opportunity:

Do you consider yourself a whiz at fund development, capital campaigns, donor relations and building philanthropic corporate relationships? The Air Zoo Leadership Team is searching for a motivated, organized, innovative and relationship savvy individual to lead their Fund Development Programs, to create new and sustainable corporate relationships, and to help develop and lead the execution of the Air Zoo’s impending capital campaign – we have BIG exciting plans. What the Air Zoo is providing:
- Compensation commensurate with experience in a range of $65,000 to $85,000 per year.

Position Title: Guest Experience Ambassador
Supervisor: Guest Experience Manager
Status: Part-time; non-exempt
Position Objectives:
The Guest Experience Ambassador (GEA) position has direct contact with our Guests. They set the stage and atmosphere for our Guests visits. Ride Operator GEA staff are responsible for safely operating all of the Air Zoo attractions while ensuring our Guests have the best experience possible during their visit. Point of Sale GEA staff process admission tickets and membership sales, answer phones, work in retail, and assist our Guests. Safety, customer service, professionalism and accuracy are the priority.
What we are looking for:
- Ability to come to work as scheduled and on time.
- Availability that is consistent from week to week including weekend days (can be adjusted by semester)
- Availability to work some evenings, including weekends (premium pay)
- Availability to work on holidays (premium pay)
- Ability to engage customers by smiling, talking and helping people to have fun
- Ability to learn about the Air Zoo so you can share that excitement with our guests

Internship and Volunteer Opportunities
The Air Zoo has many internship and volunteer opportunities available that cover a broad range of majors and interests.
Please note: Due to the current state of affairs (COVID-19) we are not actively onboarding interns. Interested parties may still submit requests and they will be held until normal operations are back in place.

- Archive Intern: Assist with numbering and labeling, accessioning, refiling, and data entry.
- Curatorial Intern: Assist with aerospace research, writing, data organization, and inventory.
- Development Intern: Assist with grant writing, research, reports, data entry, and special events.
- Digital Assets Intern: Assist with describing and digitizing photos, and inventorying data.
- Education Volunteer: Assists the lead educator with program needs.
- Graphic Intern: Assist with artwork creation, design layout, photo manipulation, etc.
- Photo/Video Intern: Assist with capturing and editing photos and video, asset organization, etc.
- Social Media Intern: Assist the management of the Air Zoo's social media platforms.
