Full-Time Positions

Position Title: Donor Relations and Grants Manager

Supervisor: Director of Development

Status: Full-time; Exempt

Position Objectives:

We are looking for a passionate team-member who is dedicated to advancing the Air Zoo’s mission by developing, cultivating, and supporting our contributors. The right candidate will work seamlessly as part of a dedicated team, but also possess the ability to drive their work independently. We are searching for someone who is an effective communicator and writer with strong project management skills. The person in this role will work with multiple departments within the organization, so having a general understanding of marketing and promotions practices to ensure campaign or event success is preferred. If you are ready to shout out to the world about how supporting the Air Zoo leads to a stronger community, you might be who we are looking for!

  • Availability to work some evenings, some weekends, and some holiday’s
  • You should have excellent written and verbal skills

Position Title: Guest Experience Lead

Supervisor:  Guest Experience Manager

Status: Full-time; Non Exempt with weekends, evenings and holiday’s required

Position Objective:  We are looking for someone who loves to work as a team but can drive work independently! We are looking for someone who strives to make the space around them better and is driven to provide the best customer service experience! Our Guest Experience Lead position is a front line position where you can provide all Guests with an efficient, informative experience as relates to the sale of Air Zoo admissions, memberships, and programs.  Are you someone who loves people and wants to work in an fun and energetic environment? Part-Time Positions

Position Title: Guest Experience Ambassador

Supervisor: Guest Experience Manager
Status:
Part-time; non-exempt

Position Objectives:
The Guest Experience Ambassador (GEA) position has direct contact with our Guests. They set the stage and atmosphere for our Guests visits. Ride Operator GEA staff are responsible for safely operating all of the Air Zoo attractions while ensuring our Guests have the best experience possible during their visit.  Point of Sale GEA staff process admission tickets and membership sales, answer phones, work in retail, and assist our Guests. Safety, customer service, professionalism and accuracy are the priority.

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to come to work as scheduled and on time.
  • Availability that is consistent from week to week including weekend days (can be adjusted by semester)
  • Availability to work some evenings, including weekends (premium pay)
  • Availability to work on holidays (premium pay)
  • Ability to engage customers by smiling, talking and helping people to have fun
  • Ability to learn about the Air Zoo so you can share that excitement with our guests

Internship and Volunteer Opportunities

The Air Zoo has many internship and volunteer opportunities available that cover a broad range of majors and interests.
Please note:   Due to the current state of affairs (COVID-19) we are not actively onboarding interns. Interested parties may still submit requests and they will be held until normal operations are back in place.
