The Story of our FM-2 Wildcat

IT WAS A COLD DAY OVER LAKE MICHIGAN On December 28, 1944, it was just 15 degrees in Michigan when the FM-2 Wildcat fighter plane that currently calls the Air Zoo’s East Campus Restoration Center home crashed into the icy waters of Lake Michigan. LunarVette Visits Air Zoo, Saturday, November 23rd

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the first two, of six, moon landings of project Apollo. SR-71 Spy-Posium Event - a HUGE success for all!
