Mission Complete: The SR-71 Spy-posium returns
Twenty SR-71 Blackbird crew members and thousands of guests joined the Air Zoo for another unforgettable SR-71 Spy-posium.
Crew were on site to recount sorties and give tours of the Blackbird. There was also multiple panel discussions, new Blackbird and Spy-posium souvenirs in the Fly Buy Gift Shop and the Blackbird Affair, a ticketed fundraising event which gave lucky guests the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of the mighty Blackbird.

In the late 1940s, Air Zo co-founder Preston “Pete” Parish (1919-2020) averaged 3,000 miles a month en route from San Diego to Vancouver; Spokane to Salt Lake City; Phoenix to Los Angeles—but not by air!

The Air Zoo launches competition, nationally, to raise $100,000 for completion of the SBD-2P & F-117 Nighthawk restorations in 2021
