And there is nowhere better to explore that frontier than at the Air Zoo. That's why we're excited to announce our next traveling exhibit, Alien Worlds and Androids, with content provided by JPL and NASA. It may be an out of this world experience, but you will leave feeling like you took a fantastic journey through space and time. Alien Worlds and Androids brings guests face-to-face with worlds far beyond their own, and introduces the technology that takes them there. "We're thrilled to have such an amazing, large-scale exhibit to offer our community,' says Troy Thrash, Air Zoo President and CEO. "The highly interactive experiences and incredible visuals really drive home the fact that our dreams of space travel and life on other planets can become a reality. Alien Worlds and Androids is sure to inspire adults and kids alike to reach for the stars and help change the world around them."

Alien Worlds and Androids - Experiences it at the Air ZooABOUT THE EXHIBIT

The question "are we alone in the universe?" has fascinated mankind for centuries. From books to movies and everything in between, we've asked, studied and dissected this idea from every angle. With the advent of manned spaceflight in the mid-20th century, finding the answer to that question has become a tantalizing reality. Inside this large exhibit are nine themed environments that will immerse museum-goers in a wide variety of discoveries and theories on space travel and the possibility of life beyond the planet earth. There are hands on experiments, real live robots and so much more. You can even ride along with the Mars Rover as it scours the surface of our nearest planetary neighbor. It's an experience that anyone who has dreamed of flying through the frontiers of space won't want to miss.

As with any exhibit about space and technology, there are life-size models of some of the inspirations behind the kinds of robots and space crafts we use today. Inside the exhibit you ll find a life-size C-3PO and R2-D2 from STAR WARS, an exact replica of Tony Stark's IRON MAN suit, robots from the TERMINATOR movies and more! Since fiction can inform real life, it's no wonder that so many of our inspirations come from those things that excite our imagination.
